Donating to St. Jude Hospital

I was already donating to St. Jude Hospital before I was diagnosed with 4th stage metastatic melanoma. Now I am also donating 10% of my royalties to St. Jude Hospital.

My cancer treatments

For those of you who have been following my cancer treatments I have finished with the Yervoy. So far it did what it was supposed to do - mainly make me worse. I developed more tumors right under the skin under my arm and on the inside of my leg and on the outside of my leg and on my back. The drug must be starting to work though because those have now disappeared. I will get an MRI in about 6 weeks to see if it got rid of the ones on my liver, lungs and hip. Keep your fingers crossed and I'll keep you posted.
